ABOUT ME
I’m an artist based in San Carlos, California. My paintings celebrate the strength and confidence of women while embracing a sense of grace and femininity.
I studied at The Art Students League in New York, earned a BFA from Washington University, and furthered my artistic training in Florence, Italy. While living in New York City as a young woman I pursued my art. However, after moving to California I took a hiatus to raise my family. In 2019 I returned to painting with renewed passion.
Currently, I have a studio at Art Bias (Studio #106) and serve as a mentor for Art Bias’ Youth Mentorship program. I exhibit my work regularly at galleries throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

ART PRACTICE
The opulent dresses I create are like pearls in a still life. They are used as a vehicle to express color, light, and texture. They also are evocative of the rich, complex inner lives of my subjects.
